A Tribute to Our Super Soprano, Our Mother

With fainted hearts and troubled minds, we come together in deep sorrow. Yet, in our grief, we are held afloat by an unyielding current of love, the very love you so freely gave. We stand to honor our friend, our mentor, our super soprano, and above all, our MOM. Your presence was a lighthouse in our lives. You stood with us through thick and thin, a steadfast hand holding our own as we journeyed through life’s mountains. You didn’t just guide us; you walked every step alongside us, your words of wisdom never falling on deaf ears. They were deep and true, designed not to soothe but to strengthen. Some may have perceived your instructions as harsh, but we knew they were straight, honest, and meant to build us into better versions of ourselves.

You saw our potential when we couldn't, and for that, we will be forever grateful. You are the reason our boys grew into thoughtful gentlemen and our girls blossomed into intelligent, compassionate ladies. You didn’t just teach us music; you taught us character. The sweet, soaring voice of our super soprano still echoes through our practice halls, a beautiful memory that fills the silence with warmth. And your laughter, oh, your laughter, that sound could fill our hearts with so much hope and light, reminding us that joy was always within reach.

We mourn a mentor, we mourn a mother, and we mourn a friend. We mourn a heart so full of joy and love that it spilled over and touched everyone it met. We mourn a soul so rich with forgiveness and reconciliation. We mourn a spirit so jovial and deeply religious. But even in our mourning, we cannot forget the fierce, fighting spirit you possessed. Your willpower to live and to overcome was a testimony to the power of the human spirit. You taught us that even in the midst of profound pain, we could still be human, and that we must, above all, let love live.

We find ourselves caught in a bittersweet space, torn between the pain of mourning your departure and the overwhelming need to celebrate the magnificent life you led. You deserve to be celebrated, for every life you touched, for every lesson you taught, for every act of kindness you performed. You were a living, breathing testament to the power of love, and your legacy will continue to pour down on us like a blessing from above. Your final message, the beautiful and simple truth to Let Love Live, will guide us always.

Thank you, Mama, for everything.

Shalom MAMA.

Till we meet again.
